When the slope rock strata are broken and loose, the anchor rods can be extended. Anchor rods must be配套 products for flexible protective nets, and it is strictly prohibited to arbitrarily use general reinforcing bars to make self-made anchor rods.

When restricted by rock drilling equipment, the two steel wires forming each anchor rod can be separately anchored into two anchor holes with a diameter not less than φ35mm; forming a V-shaped anchor rod, with an angle between the two steel wires of 15~30° to achieve the same anchoring effect.

Grout and insert anchor rods (the external ring of the anchor rod must not exceed the ground surface, and the grouting of the ring section is not allowed to ensure the rope is as close to the ground as possible after tensioning), use M35 cement mortar for anchor rod grouting; in a chemical erosion environment, select M35 cement mortar or cement slurry based on the environmental action level, and add a certain proportion of fly ash by weight. Ensure the borehole is fully grouted, and cure the grout for at least 3 days before proceeding to the next stage.

4.1.4 Install transverse and longitudinal cable supports: The transverse supports use φ16 steel wire rope, and the longitudinal supports use φ12 steel wire rope. The quoted circular mesh forms a tensioned rope with a 4.5m x 4.5m transverse and longitudinal intersection. After tensioning, each end is secured with 2 to 4 cable clamps (2 when the rope length is less than 15m, 4 when greater than 30m) and fastened to the exposed collar of anchor rods, with 3 in between for the circular mesh installation.

4.1.5 Hexagonal Wire Mesh Laying: Utilizes φ2.0/50*60 hexagonal wire mesh; mechanically woven from 2mm diameter steel wire into a twisted pattern, with a mesh size of 50mm*60mm. Corrosion protection is achieved through hot-dip galvanized + 5% aluminum + mixed rare earth alloy; the steel wire should not have any mechanical damage or rusting.

Once the tensioned cables are stable, lay double twisted hexagonal netting from top to bottom, forming a circular pattern with an overlap width of no less than 5cm. Sew the double twisted hexagonal nets together and secure them to the tensioned cables using φ1.5mm wires at 1m intervals. (Under on-site construction conditions, this process can be completed before the previous one, with the double twisted hexagonal nets placed below the tensioned cables.) This prevents the collapse of small rock blocks.
