Submersible axial flow pumps have a wide range of applications, including power plant water supply and drainage, agricultural irrigation and drainage, as well as in shipyards, urban construction, water supply projects, power plant water supply, and amusement parks. Moreover, submersible axial flow pumps can be installed in different ways according to various operating environments. Do you know about the different installation methods for submersible axial flow pumps? If not, follow the editor below to learn about some installation methods for submersible axial flow pumps!
When designing submersible axial flow pump stations, various designs can be tailored based on the specific usage environment, geographical features, and differences in water abstraction methods. There are mainly five installation methods for submersible axial flow pumps: well-bore installation, buoy installation, sled installation, coupled installation, and pipeline installation.
One: Casing Installation: The pump is placed on the saddle ring inside the wellbore, sealed by the sealing strip between the guide vane body and the wellbore saddle ring, with anti-tilt and anti-reversal devices. This installation method is convenient and quick; during maintenance, simply open the top cover and lift the pump out of the wellbore.
Tethered Installation: Pumps and pipelines are mounted on floating platforms, which adjust to water level changes, shifting positions accordingly; this method is applied in river and coastal aquaculture. This installation is portable and can adapt to water level fluctuations without affecting water extraction.
Three: Sled-style Installation: The pump is mounted on a sled frame, sliding down the guide rail during installation. The suction section is submerged in water. This installation method can utilize dam installation, is portable, and can be used in water bodies where pump stations are not suitable, reducing excavation volume and saving engineering costs.
Four: Coupled Installation: Pumps and couplings are automatically connected through guide rail components. This installation method is designed by incorporating the installation features of submersible sewage pumps, offering convenience, speed, cost savings, and ease of maintenance and upkeep. Simply pull the pump body along the guide rail for maintenance.
Five. Pipeline Installation: The pump is installed within the pipeline, featuring the characteristics of a submersible axial flow pump. It offers a higher head than the axial flow pump and is cost-effective, commonly used for secondary boost in short-distance pipeline applications.
The above five points outline the common installation methods for submersible axial flow pumps. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to call or visit our factory for consultation. The entire staff at Up Pump will be dedicated to serving you.
