The Features of the Pressure and Temperature Reducing Valve
The pressure-reducing and temperature-reducing valve regulates the flow of medium by controlling the opening of the actuating parts within the control valve. It lowers the medium's pressure and simultaneously adjusts the opening of the actuating parts with the aid of the pressure after the valve, maintaining the downstream pressure within a specific range. Additionally, cooling water is sprayed into the valve body or after the valve to lower the temperature of the medium. Such a valve is known as a pressure-reducing and temperature-reducing valve.
The features of the temperature and pressure reducing valve are that it maintains the pressure and temperature at the outlet within a certain range despite the continuous changes in the inlet pressure. The pressure reducing valve is an essential accessory for pneumatic control valves, primarily used to reduce and stabilize the pressure of the gas source to a fixed value, enabling the regulating valve to obtain a stable gas source for control and adjustment. This type of valve should generally be installed horizontally in the pipeline.
