Introduction

A crystallizer is a crystallization equipment that requires a rapid drop in temperature using chilled water or refrigerant water within the jacket after the material mixture has reacted. Its key aspects lie in the size of the jacket area, the structure of the stirrer, the material outlet form, the high-precision polishing inside the tank, and the requirement for a cleaning process with no dead corners to meet the process requirements.

       Crystallization tanks (seed tanks, fermentation tanks, enzymatic hydrolysis tanks) are widely used in fine chemicals, biotechnology, and other industries. Both the tank body and the top and bottom covers (or conical shapes) are processed with spinning R-radius technique. The inner wall is polished to a mirror finish. The fully enclosed design ensures that materials are always mixed and fermented in a pollution-free state. The equipment is equipped with air breathing apparatus, cleaning balls, cleanable manholes, sight glasses, and visual lights.


Operating Principle

       The key to crystallization in crystallizers lies in the size of the sandwich area, the structure of the stirrer, the material outlet form, the high-precision polishing inside the tank, and the requirement for a seamless cleaning to meet process conditions. Crystallizers are made of stainless steel, with the inner wall mirror-polished, and a fully enclosed design ensures that materials are always handled in a pollution-free state.

       1. The use of a hollow helical ribbon mixing structure for equipment increases the heat exchange area, enhances heat exchange efficiency, boosts crystallization capacity, and makes feeding and discharging materials convenient.

       2. The equipment jacket can be supplied with steam or refrigerant to maintain the material at an appropriate temperature, featuring high efficiency and easy operation.

       3. Equipped with a 0.2 μm hydrophobic air filter on the equipment, the tank can withstand high-temperature steam sterilization and disinfection, and is fitted with a sanitary pressure gauge.

       4. The equipment drum is equipped with a sanitary quick-release connection. It includes a thermometer, 2 sight glasses, a cleaning ball, and an interface for nitrogen gas.

       5. Equipment sealing is implemented with a special sanitary mechanical seal, ensuring that materials remain uncontaminated.

       6. The equipment features a stepless speed control device, with a wide range of mixing shaft speed adjustments for even mixing and uniform crystallization.
