Prior to applying the reflective thermal insulation coating, the surface of the item to be coated should be free of dust, oil stains, debris, rust, moisture, and any other contaminants that may affect adhesion. The surface should be appropriately treated, such as: applying anti-rust paint to steel surfaces after rust removal, then applying sunscreen paint once the anti-rust paint has cured; the metal surfaces with existing anti-rust paint must be cleaned of contaminants and dust; concrete roofs must be dusted; if using clean water, the paint should be applied only after the water is completely dry.
The ideal application temperature for reflective heat-reflective coating on objects or equipment is between 15-60°C. It should not be directly applied to the surface of operating low-temperature or high-temperature objects. The surface temperature of these objects must reach 15-60°C before application, as the coating cannot cure properly. Directly forming a heat-reflective film on objects with excessively high or low temperatures can negatively impact the insulation effect.
Reflective insulation coating requires only two layers, with a 2-hour interval between each application. The single-layer spray thickness is 0.3-0.5 mm (requirement: airless spray). When brushing with a brush or roller, ensure a 10-centimeter overlap between each track to prevent coating leakage. The spray equipment and hoses should be cleaned promptly with clean water. The coating material on the substrate or floor can be cleaned with soap and water. Cleaning must be done before the product dries.
