Before applying reflective thermal insulation coating, the surface of the object to be coated should be free of dust, grease, debris, rust, moisture, and other impurities that may affect adhesion. The surface should be appropriately treated, such as: the surface of steel metal after rust removal should be coated with anti-rust paint, then apply sunscreen paint after the anti-rust paint has cured; the surface of metal with existing anti-rust paint must be cleaned of impurities and dust; concrete roofs must be dusted; if clean water is used, paint should be applied only after the water is completely dry.
Ideal application temperature for reflective thermal insulation coating on objects or equipment is between 15-60°C; it should not be directly applied to the surface of operating low or high-temperature objects. The surface temperature of these objects must reach 15-60°C prior to application, as the coating cannot cure properly. It is not advisable to directly create an insulating radiant membrane on objects with excessively high or low temperatures, as it may affect the insulation performance.
Reflective thermal insulation coatings require only two layers, with a 2-hour interval between each application. The single-layer spray thickness is 0.3-0.5 millimeters (airless spray is specified). When brushing with a brush and roller, ensure a 10-centimeter overlap between each track to prevent coating leakage. Spray equipment and hoses should be cleaned with clear water promptly. Coating materials on the base or floor can be cleaned with soap and water. Cleaning must be done before the product dries.
