On April 14th, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued a notice approving the "Standard for Seamless Construction of Extra-long Concrete Structures" as an industrial standard, with the code JGJ/T492-2023, to be implemented from May 1, 2023. The main technical contents of this standard include general provisions, terminology and symbols, fundamental regulations, materials, detailed design, and construction.
The standard applies to the construction of ultra-long concrete structures in both industrial and civil buildings, and specifies clear regulations on the selection of concrete, raw materials for concrete, steel, and other materials.
