Microspheres are an environmentally friendly new type of inorganic lightweight insulating material. In addition to their lightweight, thermal insulation, fireproofing, and excellent heat preservation properties, they also boast non-flammability, high strength, low water absorption, good workability, and a long service life. The product is made from selected particle-size mineral sand, which is expanded by an electric furnace heating method. By controlling the temperature and the dwell time of the raw materials, the product's surface is melted and the pores are sealed, resulting in irregularly spherical particles with a porous cavity structure inside, a vitrified closed surface, smooth luster, and highly stable physical and chemical properties. This product can serve as a lightweight aggregate in the new building materials industry (inorganic thermal insulation mortar aggregates, lightweight gypsum mortar aggregates); as a partial substitute for expanded glass beads in the lightweight refractory material industry; and as a substitute for glass microspheres in the emulsifying industry, with a broad range of applications. It can be widely used in various fields such as industry, agriculture, construction materials, chemicals, metallurgy, light industry, and more.
