The existing cast iron flap gate at the wastewater treatment plant was severely affected by effluent backflow, leading to frequent damage and gate detachment, impacting effluent water quality and the sealing performance of the discharge pump. To address this issue, we independently designed and developed a 45 steel welding gate with high strength, long service life, and excellent performance, replacing the original cast iron flap gate and accomplishing the task of ensuring the normal discharge process specifications of the plant.
Cast iron gate valves are cost-effective and durable. They can be extended to other wastewater treatment plants. Gate sizes can be customized according to the actual diameter of the export pipeline. They effectively address the issues of补水 and damage caused by the outlet water level being lower than the wastewater channel level.
