The Tier 3 Security Certification refers to the system or website having applied for the Information System Security Protection Level Protection Record, meeting the requirements of the Tier 3 Security Protection Level for Network Security, allowing it to be classified as Tier 3, along with the corresponding Information System Security Protection Level Protection Record. Once the system obtains the Tier 3 Security Certification, it is required to conduct regular security protection level assessments. According to relevant regulations, a Tier 3 Security Protection Level assessment must be conducted annually. Therefore, it is recommended to begin contacting qualified security protection level assessment institutions to initiate the assessment work within 11 months of the last assessment. Due to the time required for the assessment and the need for corrective actions if medium to high-risk issues are identified, it is advisable to allocate sufficient time for the relevant activities.

If your website or system has not yet been classified, and you believe it needs to be classified as Level 3 based on industry requirements and the scale of system users, you must initiate a review meeting when applying for the security classification registration on the website or system. After obtaining guidance from the relevant authorities, you can obtain the Level 3 security classification certificate upon approval from the relevant approval department. There is a significant difference in the assessment cycle and the configuration of Level 3 security network equipment (costs for purchasing equipment/renting equipment) compared to Level 2, so it is recommended to classify scientifically and avoid the misconception that a higher classification is always better. Based on the company's actual situation, combined with industry classification guidelines and the latest implementation of the "Guidelines for Network Security Classification," reasonable classification is the only way to realistically implement corresponding network security protection measures.
