A lifting platform is a multi-functional lifting and loading/unloading mechanical equipment, which can be divided into fixed and mobile types: mobile ones include straight arm, curved arm, scissor, telescopic, aluminum alloy lifting platforms, and cylinder type; fixed ones include scissor, guide rail, chain, loading/unloading platforms, and attached electric construction platforms, among others. Next, let's discuss the five development directions of lifting platform vehicles:
1. The weight of the lifting platform has been reduced.
The self-weight of the boom system of an aerial work platform directly impacts the working range and stability of the platform. As people delve deeper into the research of the boom system, they have gained some understanding of the optimization of the boom structure. This allows for more rational design and cross-sectional structures during the production of booms, thereby reducing their own weight.
2. Elevator platform height increased
As China's urbanization levels continue to rise, the number of skyscrapers in our cities is skyrocketing, with building heights constantly increasing. This has created a demand for high-altitude work platforms. Therefore, to meet the needs of the domestic market and the public, we will intensify our efforts in designing and producing high-altitude work platforms.
3. Elevating Platform Intelligentization
With the continuous development of control technology, aerial work platforms are increasingly incorporating intelligent features such as automatic leveling, visual operation, intelligent safety controls, wireless remote control, and remote monitoring.
4. Elevator Platform Series
Series expansion is an important trend in the development of aerial work platforms. From the perspective of a company's risk resistance capacity, from a global standpoint, many construction equipment companies are gradually implementing product series expansion, resulting in various specifications of products. Since the life cycle of a single product is limited, its risk resistance is low. However, the series expansion of products can effectively shorten the R&D cycle, hence, domestic aerial work platforms are developing towards a series-oriented direction.
5. Multi-functional Elevating Platforms
Currently, besides equipping with some elevated work platforms, they typically come with firefighting equipment such as fire pumps and water tanks. Additionally, they can be fitted with high-altitude escape devices like rescue parachutes to facilitate elevated rescues. In summary, the future elevated work platforms will undoubtedly be multifunctional, high-performance work vehicles.
