The lifespan of stage lighting equipment largely depends on the quality of maintenance and care. The maintenance of lighting effects equipment is relatively complex and fragmented compared to speakers, and generally involves ensuring daily basic checks, weekly scheduled inspections, monthly equipment maintenance, and proper adjustments.

1. Common Questions 1. Thirty minutes prior to launch, all equipment should be powered on, initiating ultra-low temperature heating. Simultaneously, inspect all equipment and electrical distribution lines. Ultra-low temperature condition refers to the lighting effects being off.

After 15 minutes of heating, reset all equipment and allow it to cool down; the cooling time should not be less than 15 minutes.

3. After heat dissipation, the music performance segment can begin; 4. Upon the end of the performance and customers' departure, all stage lighting and equipment should be turned off. Allow the equipment to dissipate heat for 15 to 20 minutes before either storing or covering the equipment, and then the stage lighting can be removed.

Basic Inspection Scope: 1. Whether the light bulbs can illuminate normally; 2. If there are any issues with the wiring of all equipment; 3. Whether all equipment can be started normally, including issues with the light control switches, color changer operation, and computer light positioning.

4. Can DMX512 signals properly control lighting fixtures? 5. Are there any issues with the application of animation effects equipment, and are all necessary materials, such as range hoods, fog machines, snow machines, and bubble machines, fully provided?

In addition to the regular weekly inspections, we pay special attention to the following aspects: 1. During the weekly inspections, we check the connections of critical equipment, including switch power connections and DMX512 connections, to ensure there are no loose connections or breaks in the lines.

2. Meanwhile, during weekly inspections, adjust the light positions and fine-tune the DMX512 programming; 4. Monthly equipment maintenance and timely adjustments.

Monthly adjustments, in addition to the ongoing daily monitoring and weekly inspections, will require a meticulous effort involving collaboration across several departments, such as artists, orchestras, low-voltage installation, security, and cleaning services. Simultaneously, during the monthly inspections, the following tasks must be completed.

1. Lighting Position Adjustment; Due to shifts in lighting positions or changes within customer areas during use, causing transformations in lighting positions, adjustments are made monthly, including those for computer lights controlled by DMX512 signals.

2. Equipment inspections, including computer lights, motor units for color-changing devices, and spray nozzles for animation effect equipment.

3. Inspect all distribution lines for any breaks, damage, or electrical leakage. Due to the inevitable human factors during use, various unexpected situations may occur, such as exposed cables being stepped on, frequently inserted cables, or existing breaks. Sometimes, spilled drinks can cause electrical leakage or even short-circuit faults in the lines. Therefore, this inspection requires great attention to detail. This inspection must be conducted in coordination with low-voltage installations.

4. Address dust and debris from the external environment of lighting fixtures. During operation, lighting effects naturally accumulate some debris, such as broken light bulbs sticking to the fixture body. Additionally, long-term exposure to the audience area, where computer lights and animation special effects equipment are used, makes it very easy for items like colorful ribbons, glass shards, and remnants of beverages to fall into the fixtures. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the external garbage and waste from the lighting fixtures, as well as to remove internal debris, which requires cooperation between cleaning services.

5. Inspect all fire safety equipment. Lighting effects and speakers are a more technologically intensive trade on the circuit board, with strong power entering and weak power exiting the strong power well. Due to the numerous equipment and extensive wiring involved, fire safety is crucial in lighting effects work. In each monthly inspection, coordination with the Security Department should be ensured to test every fire protection facility and firefighting equipment. The inspections mainly include the stability level of fire protection equipment, whether there are issues with the selection of firefighting equipment, and whether they are within their expiration dates.

In addition to the daily, weekly, and monthly inspections, it is crucial for the stage lighting team to have an in-depth understanding of all equipment and environmental conditions. They must be prepared to handle emergencies appropriately, ensuring they have adequate safety measures in place while providing an excellent visual environment.
