Part 1: TAJ Series - The model number for AVX brand tantalum capacitors, equivalent to the dielectric type of ceramic capacitors. The TAJ series of tantalum capacitors is commonly known in Chinese as the Standard Series. AVX offers two series: TAJ and TPS. TAJ indicates general-purpose capacitors, while TPS denotes low-impedance capacitors with a DC resistance less than 1 ohm, typically ranging from 100 mΩ to 500 mΩ, with some special models as low as 40 mΩ.
Part 2C: Tantalum Capacitor Packaging Dimensions - The packaging notation for tantalum capacitors differs from that of standard surface mount capacitors (MLCCs), and it does not use the English or metric system of notation. Instead, it has its own unique method of dimension representation.
Section 3, Part 106: This is the "three-digit notation" for capacitors, used to indicate the nominal capacitance value of surface mount tantalum capacitors (106 denotes 10uF).
Section 4 M: Tolerance Error, K indicates +/-10%, M indicates +/-20%. These are the two tolerances for surface mount tantalum capacitors.
Part 5 Section 035: Represents a voltage of 35V, which is easy to understand. The common voltage and code correspondence is as follows: 002-2.5V, 004-4V, 006-6.3V, 010-10V, 106-16V, 025-25V, 035-35V, 050-50V. Industrial tantalum capacitors are rated at 50V; there are no tantalum capacitors available above this voltage (some tantalum capacitors can be rated up to 63V).
Section 6 R: Packaging Method, R indicates a tape-bound small tray (7-inch diameter material tray), S is a 13-inch tray.
