However, due to the higher melting point of PA6T compared to its thermal decomposition temperature, it is challenging to achieve practical industrial applications without modification. Therefore, modifications are commonly made to PA6T as the base structure, such as copolymerization with 20%-30% of other polyamide monomers to lower its melting point and increase the gap between melting and decomposition temperatures, enhancing its practicality. Commonly modified PA6T varieties include PA6T/6/66, PA6T/PA6T/66, and PA6T/6.

Excellent chemical resistance; PA6T to most chemicals and various solvents, PA10T,iOils and equivalents exhibit excellent tolerance.
Excellent dimensional stability; PA6T has a low water absorption rate, resulting in minimal size changes due to moisture absorption. PA6T also exhibits a stable coefficient of thermal expansion, maintaining a low level even in high temperature ranges, thus demonstrating good dimensional stability in response to temperature changes.

In the injection molding of PA6T, attention should be given to the following points: The injection molding machine used for processing PA6T (especially the barrel, nozzle, and screw) must have excellent wear resistance. For the processing of flame-retardant grade PA6T, the material of the injection molding machine must also possess excellent corrosion resistance. If the injection volume per cycle is relatively small, opt for a smaller injection molding machine, aiming to make each injection volume greater than 10% of the larger injection capacity to prevent excessive resin residence time and decomposition. During PA6T injection molding, use standard nozzles, and ensure minimal flow dead zones to avoid partial resin decomposition or carbonization, which can affect product quality. The steel used for the mold in PA6T injection molding must have excellent wear resistance. For the processing of surface flame-retardant PA6T, the mold material must also have excellent corrosion resistance.
