The wedge mechanism is a commonly used suspension structure in automotive molds. It is primarily fixed beneath the top mold base of the automotive mold, with return and stroke limit blocks respectively set at the ends of the moving wedge on the upper seat; a return spring is provided on one side of the moving wedge; the lower end of the power wedge has a punch at an angle to the horizontal plane; the other end of the power wedge below has a guide slider at a certain angle to the horizontal plane, which is inlaid with oil-soaked graphite; the lifting wedge mechanism can reduce the processing process of the mold and minimize the overall contour size of the mold. It can also lower the cost of mold stamping and maintenance.
