Performance & Applications

1. Easily soluble in water, the solution is milky white, not resistant to strong acids, bases, heavy metal salts, and reducing agents. It penetrates quickly and evenly, with good wetting, penetration, emulsifying, and foaming properties. The penetration effect is good below 40℃, and it is more prone to hydrolysis when exposed to alkalis at high temperatures. It is recommended to treat the fabric with the penetrant first at temperatures below 40℃ before increasing the temperature. Penetrant T is not resistant to strong alkalis and should not be directly added to concentrated alkali solutions; it should be diluted first before adding Penetrant T.

2. This product is an efficient penetrant, designed for treating cotton, linen, viscose, and their blended fabrics. After treatment, the fabric can be directly bleached or dyed without the need for scouring, improving dye defects caused by dead cotton, resulting in a softer and fuller hand feel for the printed and dyed fabric. During the grey cloth bleaching process, the sizing is removed first to ensure optimal penetration.

3. If too much foam is observed when using Surfactant T, a small amount of defoaming agent, such as GP or octanol, or tributyl phosphate, can be added for defoaming.

4. For raw cotton dyeing; for wettable powder.

Packaging and Storage

50Kg plastic drum packaging. Store and transport as general chemicals. Keep in a dry, well-ventilated area. Shelf life: 2 years.
