The double shear grinding colloidal mill is mainly used for the dispersion and emulsification of various materials, with a fineness of about 0.5um.
Primary Features
The double-cutting grinding colloid mill draws the material into the primary mixing zone using the suction disk, where particles and liquid particles are initially broken and mixed. It is then pressed into the standard shearing area. Due to factors such as the width, angle, and spacing of the teeth, the primary shearing machine can only perform high-speed mixing, homogenization, and the crushing of large particles.
The double-cutting colloidal mill is designed for undispersed particulate phases and insoluble droplets in fluids. It requires a colloid mill with increasingly superior performance to grind these small particles, allowing them to enter a more precise, narrower, and multi-layered relief maze for dispersion and grinding. It must withstand the high-frequency friction, severe vibration, and turbulence generated by the high-speed rotation of thousands of relief blades, thus producing powerful ultrasonic waves to achieve the process requirements of particle crushing and liquid particle tearing. This results in the particles becoming finer and the dispersion and emulsification effects improving with each grind. The better the product stability, the longer the storage time.
Primary Structure
A double shear grinding colloid mill is a two-stage shear colloid mill, a high-tech equipment composed of emulsifiers, crushers, colloid mills, etc. The first stage of the double shear grinding colloid mill has a common shear machine structure, with a rotating stator consisting of four to six shear layers and hundreds of toothed blades, which function in mixing, shearing, homogenizing, and emulsifying.
The double-shear colloid mill features a shearing colloid mill structure with a rotating stator composed of three main areas, ten shearing and grinding compartments, and thousands of teeth of varying sizes, unevenly textured, and interlocking shapes. It achieves a series of complex and powerful mechanical movements, including high-speed shearing, intense friction, and particle tearing. After a diverse high-frequency shearing and grinding process, it meets the requirements of droplet molecular chain breakage, particle破碎, and liquid particle tearing, with a minimum fineness of around 0.5um.

Note:
The flow range in the table is for water treatment parameters. When handling large volumes, please add a pump at the outlet to match.
2. Pump inlet pressure ≤ 0.2 MPa; it is recommended to install a section of flexible hose or a metal bellows hose at the inlet and outlet to prevent the motor head from deforming under pressure.
3. The motors listed are standard, with explosion-proof options available.
4. Adjust the motor power appropriately based on viscosity.
5. Absolutely no rigid materials allowed in the working chamber; install a filter at the inlet if necessary.
6. Insulated cooling sleeves available for customization.
