Emulsified asphalt colloid mill
Overview DEscriptION
The Emulsified Asphalt Colloid Mill is a new generation of asphalt SBS crushing, blending, and homogenizing equipment, based on the German colloid mill and domestically produced. It is also a crucial device for mixing and crushing colloidal sticky substances with hard granular materials during the homogenization process. The product boasts an attractive appearance, smooth operation, powerful functions, and reliable safety, with performance equivalent to similar foreign products.
Primary Structure
The colloidal asphalt emulsifier mainly consists of three parts: the motor, bearing seat, and mill head. The host is installed in a horizontal manner, typically featuring a standard motor, which can also be a explosion-proof motor. The crushing chamber of the mill head is generally forged from stainless steel, with major components alloy forged and then subject to several rough and fine machining processes before being precision manufactured in an automatic CNC center. The stator and rotor in the working chamber can be manually adjusted upon shutdown, usually within a distance of 0.01-2mm. The mill head housing is equipped with a heating device that can be heated using thermal oil or steam. The connection is via a flanged design, with the main side serving as the inlet and the top as the outlet, connected by a flange.
Operating Principle FEATURE
The main equipment consists of an emulsified asphalt colloid mill, followed by an asphalt mixer, quick-open filter, high-shear mixing pump, swelling mixer, and electrical control box, among others. Key functions include: first, thoroughly mixing SBS with stabilizer and asphalt to ensure even distribution of SBS within the asphalt. It then enters the emulsified asphalt colloid mill's crushing zone, where the SBS is first subjected to high-speed cutting and grinding under special high-speed rotating equipment. After refinement, the mixture is forced through centrifugal force to enter the primary crushing and fine grinding zone, where it is re-sheared and ground at high speed, extending radially. The crushing chamber features one cutting zone and three fine grinding zones, where the fluid's direction and speed change instantly at each stage, subjected to millions of high-speed cuts, compressions, and grindings per minute, resulting in the breaking of liquid material molecular chains, particle粉碎, and particle tearing. This ensures the finished modified asphalt has good stability, no separation, and achieves continuous production, reducing production costs and improving corporate profitability. The complete set of equipment has production capacities of 2m3/h, 4m3/h, and 6m3/h.
