How to address the issue of the tubes produced by the extruder varying in thickness during the extrusion process?
1. Inspect the V-belt on the main extruder for signs of elongation, looseness, or slipping due to aging from prolonged use, which may cause fluctuations in the extruder screw's speed.
2. Inspect for any damaged heating coils on the main cylinder and the machine head, as damaged heating coils can lead to improper functioning of the tube extruder.
3. Inspect the air compressor, checking for instability in the air compressor's gas lines, oil-water separator, and pressure-reducing assembly, as well as whether the pressure settings are too high or too low.
4. Inspect the air throttle valve of the tube extruder, checking for any decrease in the throttle valve's adjustment precision. A decrease in precision can lead to unstable airflow, resulting in the tube becoming thicker and thinner during extrusion.
5. Inspect the die airway of the tube extrusion machine for rust or other substances. It is necessary to regularly clean the internal airway to ensure its通畅ness. Many air compressors operate with moisture, and our molds are metal components. The passage from the throttle valve to the die air outlet may become rusty over time due to the prolonged moisture content, potentially leading to airflow obstruction.
6. Inspect the water flow within the sink, ensuring it is sufficiently stable. Both the pressure and level of the water can lead to uneven pressure on the tubes, causing fluctuations.
7. Inspect the U-shaped guide mold between the tube extruder die head and the water tank, ensuring that the water levels above, below, left, and right are balanced as the tube passes through. For the U-shaped guide mold between the die and the water tank's sizing chamber, check if the space for water levels above, below, left, and right of the mold is balanced. The purpose of balance is to ensure that the tube, upon entering the water tank, experiences uniform pressure from all directions.
8. Inspect the sharpness of the cutting blades on the tube puller cutting machine of the tube extrusion production line and whether there are gaps when the blades fit with the cutting sleeve, due to the cutting tools
Blunt or misaligned edges can lead to airlock during the cutting moment, causing poor airflow and resulting in unevenly sized straws. Generally, by paying attention to the inspection of these 8 steps, the issue of straws produced by the straw extruder being unevenly thick or thin can be resolved. Nanjing Jie Xuan Machinery is dedicated to the research, development, production, and service of straw production equipment, offering a one-stop solution for the straw industry.
