Cast filter mesh should be determined in the casting system based on casting quality and technical requirements, system type, and process feasibility. Generally, the following principles can be followed:

1. Prevent direct high-flow impact on square casting filter mesh.

2. The overlap width of casting molds and square casting filter mesh should not be less than 15mm.
