February 25th, news from the Xiamen Torch High-Tech Industrial Development Zone reveals,The 8.1 billion yuan ZhongNengRuiXin energy storage battery project, located in TongXiang New Town, has entered the trial installation phase for its first phase.The main construction includes battery cells, production workshops, R&D trial workshops, office buildings, and dormitories.
ZhongNeng RuiXin Base Construction General Supervisor Wu Shao Ping stated: "We"The initial phase of construction is 5 GWh.Our production base,The company plans to invest 1.9 billion yuan, with an estimated construction period of 18 months, aiming for production to commence in 2026.”
The construction of the ZhongNeng RuiXin Energy Storage Project commenced on September 6, 2024. The project is divided into three phases, with the first phase covering an area of approximately 240,000 square meters and a total floor area of about 150,000 square meters. It primarily focuses on the production and research and development of energy storage cells, batteries, and integrated system products.
ZhongNeng RuiXin will establish a 30GWh energy storage cell R&D and production base in Xiamen. Once operational, the annual output value is expected to reach 20 billion yuan.The project's completion will further expand the scale of Xiamen's new energy storage industry, providing support for accelerating the construction of a new energy industry cluster hub.
According to Qichacha data, Zhongneng Ruixin (Xiamen) Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established on April 19, 2024, with a registered capital of 100 million yuan.
ZhongNengRuiXin (Xiamen) Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ZhongNengRuiXin (Shenzhen) Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
The Origin of Zhongneng Rixin (Shenzhen): In July 2022, Beijing Zhongneng Hua Chu Technology Co., Ltd., an affiliated company of China Energy Engineering Group, jointly established Zhongneng Rixin (Shenzhen) Energy Technology Co., Ltd. with Bettery and others. The company specializes in the research and development of iron phosphate lithium energy storage batteries and systems.
That is to say,China Energy New Energy is a state-owned controlled enterprise and the only battery cell company under China Energy Construction Corporation.
According to information, the energy storage cells developed by ZhongNeng RuiXin have been certified by experts to be at the forefront of the industry, boasting a cycle life of over 12,000 times. Their safety performance meets stringent needle penetration tests and "full lifecycle" thermal runaway requirements, and they are driving the evolution of energy storage cells towards larger capacity products.
In addition to the Tongxiang New Town production base, Zhongneng Rixin has also signed a 13 billion yuan investment project for a square aluminum shell lithium iron phosphate energy storage battery industry in Wuxi, Jiangsu.The project was signed in November 2023 and is planned in two phases to construct a 40GWh annual energy storage cell R&D and production base. It will also collaborate with companies like Bettery and China Energy Construction Group East China Electric Equipment in the research and development, and preparation of lithium-ion, sodium-ion batteries, and key materials.
