Officially Announced! The Overseas First Battery Plant of This Lithium Battery Enterprise Has Arrived!
January 9th, RuiPu LianJun announced that it will establish a battery factory in Indonesia. The factory will be involved in the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of lithium batteries, components, modules, and battery packs. RuiPu LianJun did not disclose the specific investment amount for the factory.
The Indonesian battery factory's first phase, upon completion, is expected to produce 8 GWh of power and energy storage batteries annually. Rui Pu Lian Jun states that this investment will strengthen the company's presence in Southeast Asia, bringing it closer to local customer resources and raw materials.RuiPuLanJun has been planning to establish overseas factories for some time. The company disclosed last year that it had set up a subsidiary in Southeast Asia, responsible for the preliminary research and preparation for the manufacturing base in the region. RuiPuLanJun's current battery production capacity is mainly located in Wenzhou and Jiashan in Zhejiang Province. During a recent interview, Chairman Cao Hui stated that the company's current strategy for overseas expansion is to concentrate its limited resources on one goal, focusing currently on building a battery production base in Southeast Asia.
