On November 15th, as robots have become a hot track in the technology industry, several tech giants have entered the scene.
According to today's report in "Emerging Intelligence," Ningde Times Future Energy (Shanghai) Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Future Energy Research Institute") has jointly developed multiple robots with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, preparing them for factory application.
The Future Energy Research Institute is a wholly-owned subsidiary established by Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

From CATL's official website, we learn that in January 2022, the Future Energy Research Institute collaborated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University to jointly tackle pioneering technologies in the field of new energy. Together, they are building a global innovation center for future energy.
Reports indicate that in 2023, the Future Energy Research Institute, with the cooperative background of "meeting the overall development needs of CATL Group and keeping pace with the international forefront of technological development," has launched five joint research projects on intelligent robots with Shanghai Jiao Tong University. These projects include legged robots, bipedal robots, heavy-duty quadruped robots, humanoid robots, and vision servo robots.
In addition to collaborating with universities for research and development, reports indicate CATL is also independently developing robots. An insider revealed that CATL's 21C Innovation Lab, which focuses on cutting-edge technology research, has established a team of around 20 people to independently develop robotic arms.
As of now, CATL has not issued an official response.
