Chairman Attends as ChuNeng New Energy Secures Another Large Order!
From the official WeChat account of ChuNeng New Energy, it was reported that on November 13th,
Chuneng New Energy's Global Marketing Vice President, Chen Qun, and Italy's Cestari President, Giovanni Cestari, respectively signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Chuneng New Energy's Chairman, Dai Deming, and Italy's Cestari Chairman, Eng. Alfredo C. Cestari, among others, attended the event and witnessed the signing.
Additionally, according to the agreement, Cestari will be committed to introducing local European automotive enterprises and collaborating with ChuNeng to advance the electrification process in the industry. Both parties will also actively promote cooperation in the localization of manufacturing in the Italian market.
ChuNeng New Energy states that the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement not only marks the beginning of a new chapter in green energy development cooperation between the two parties, but also represents another solid step for ChuNeng to accelerate its overseas business expansion, effectively enhancing its competitiveness in the European market and its global market share in energy storage.
Secured 5 major orders in less than 3 months
ChuNeng New Energy has been securing major orders recently.
October 23-24 - During the All-Energy Australia 2024 event, ChuNeng New Energy secured 1.6 GWh of overseas orders on-site.In detail, at this exhibition, ChuNeng New Energy signed a 1.1GWh energy storage system procurement agreement with the US energy storage innovation company YN Energy; and entered into a procurement agreement with Australian company Star Energy Technologies, committing to supply 500MWh of energy storage products to the company's markets in Australia, the United States, and the Philippines.On September 11th, at RE+2024, Chuaneng New Energy signed a 1.5GWh power storage system supply agreement with Bison Energy, providing the latter with its self-developed and manufactured 20-foot 5MWh battery container CORNEX M5 products.On August 27th, in the centralized procurement of energy storage batteries for China Electrical Equipment Group, which marks the largest historical batch procurement of 14.54GWh, Chuning New Energy's 314Ah battery cells were awarded a contract for 3.43GWh, nearly double that of Ningde Times.However, in comparison, the cooperation signed between ChuNeng New Energy and Cestari this time has an order volume of up to 30GWh, which is more than four times the total of the top four orders (1.1GWh + 0.5GWh + 1.5GWh + 3.43GWh = 6.53GWh)!
