Cable recycling not only maximizes the resource benefits of cables but also effectively reduces environmental pollution, holding significant importance for environmental protection. During installation and use, cables require certain environmental considerations. When in use, cables are not only utilized but also subject to inspections.

Cable recycling, the process of cable removal is relatively simple:

1. Separate aluminum cores, copper cores, and large and small cables.

2. If the cable is coated with iron or wire, the iron or wire should be removed first.

3. Melt the aluminum and copper drawn by the drawing machine into plastic casings for aluminum and copper products, and then granulate them again.

Note: The demolition process must be carried out in accordance with national laws and regulations, and burning is prohibited to avoid environmental pollution.

4. Chemical Method: The chemical method for treating waste cables was proposed in the 1990s, with some countries conducting research on it during that time, and China was also involved in the study. A major drawback of this method is that the waste liquid produced cannot be processed, posing a significant environmental impact, hence it is rarely used.

5. Cryogenic Method: This method was also proposed in the 1990s, using liquid nitrogen as the refrigerant to make the waste cables脆 at low temperatures. After being crushed and vibrated, the plastic sheath is separated from the copper wire segments.

1. When the conductor resistance of the power cable does not meet the requirements, it may cause heating during the cable's operation.

During cable installation, if the layout is too dense, ventilation and heat dissipation are poor, or if the cable is too close to other heat sources, it may affect the normal heat dissipation of the cable and could also lead to heating phenomena in the conductors of the power cable during operation.

4. The manufacturing technology of cable connectors is not up to par; the voltage grounding is not tight enough, leading to excessive contact resistance at the connector position, which can also cause cable heating.

5. Insufficient cable insulation can lead to low insulation resistance, generating heat during operation.
