Product Introduction
Centrifugal spray dryers are a type of spray dryer that uses a high-speed centrifugal atomizer to atomize the liquid material, allowing the atomized droplets to come into full contact with preheated hot air at a specified temperature. This process achieves the dehydration and drying of the material in a very short time, with the dried product collected by a powder collection device. Compared to pressure spray dryers, centrifugal spray dryers have a stronger adaptability to materials, enabling the atomization and spray drying of high-concentration and high-viscosity liquid materials. They also offer greater adjustability than pressure spray dryers and are widely used in industries such as food and chemicals.

Operating Principle
Room temperature air is filtered and heated, then introduced to the top hot air distributor of the centrifugal spray dryer by a blower. The hot air enters the drying tower in a spiral, uniformly. The liquid material is atomized into fine mist droplets by a high-speed centrifugal atomizer at the top of the tower (rotating), and is dried into a granular powder by concurrent contact with the hot air in a very short time. The finished material is continuously discharged from the bottom of the drying tower and the cyclone separator, while the exhaust gas is exhausted by the blower.
Performance Features
Fast drying speed; after atomization, the liquid's surface area increases significantly, allowing for the evaporation of 95%-98% moisture content in the hot air stream instantly, with the drying process taking only a few seconds. Particularly suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials.
2. The product boasts excellent uniformity, fluidity, and solubility, with high purity and superior quality.
3. Simplified production process with easy operation control. Liquids with moisture content of 20-90% (by weight) can be dried into powdered or granular products in one step, eliminating the need for crushing and sieving, reducing production steps, and enhancing product purity. Product particle size, bulk density, and moisture content can be adjusted within a certain range by modifying operating conditions, making control and management convenient.

The centrifugal spray dryer is suitable for a wide variety of materials, which cannot be listed one by one. However, based on experience, the vast majority of liquid materials can be used in a centrifugal spray dryer for a one-step spray to powder granules.
Technical Specifications

Note: The amount of moisture evaporation is related to the characteristics of the material and the hot inlet and outlet temperatures. When the outlet temperature is 90oC, the moisture evaporation curve is shown in the above figure (for selection reference).
