Seamless steel tubes are an important type of steel tube, known for their seamless nature and are a crucial material required in construction and engineering projects. There are various operations involving seamless steel tubes, and sometimes they need to be drilled. How is the common drilling process carried out? Let's take a look at the specific steps involved.
Direct drilling is typically arranged in coal mine tunnels, with the requirement that the final hole point must be located within the tunnel. The quality requirements include: the drilling depth must reach the design level of the underground tunnel in the coal mine; large-diameter seamless steel pipes are inserted and externally cemented. The drilling structure uses a two-diameter hole and a double-tube column. Gas drainage holes use an overburden layer hole diameter of 550, with the insertion of 426×10 wall tubes; the bedrock hole diameter is 380, with the insertion of 325×10 seamless steel pipes as gas drainage pipes. Drainage holes use an overburden layer hole diameter of 800, with the insertion of 650×12 wall tubes; the bedrock hole diameter is 550, with the insertion of 426×13 seamless steel pipes as drainage pipes.
