When a roll of filter mesh is used up in the fully automatic mesh changer, we need to shut down the machine to replace a new roll of filter mesh. Here are the specific steps for changing the filter mesh—let's take a look!

1. Shut down the extruder.

Turn off the cooling water and disconnect the plastic water pipes for both inlets and outlets.

3. Set the webbing temperature to the melting point of the plastic, and set the filtration time to zero. At this point, the webbing heating tube begins continuous heating until the set temperature is reached. (Note: After setting the webbing time, you need to reset the webbing time switch to activate the setting, which means to turn it off and on once.)

After the plastic in the outlet and cooling section is fully melted, which typically takes 30 minutes, simply clean out the molten material from the cooling and web path sections using appropriate tools, and then pull out the filter mesh with force.

5. Clean the internal materials of the automatic mesh changer's inlet mesh plate, outlet mesh plate, and cooling section with appropriate tools.

6. Place a brand new filter into the conveyor box of the fully automatic filter changer.

Pass the filter screen completely through the screen changer via the feed plate.

8. Adjust the web temperature and filter time to the normal production set values.

9. Connect the inlet pipe, open the inlet valve. Note that high-pressure steam may be ejected from the outlet during this step. Ensure there is a person nearby the outlet to prevent burns.

10. After confirming there is no steam emitted from the outlet and the water flow is stable, connect the drain pipe.

Once the temperature at the meshing board drops to the normal production level, the automatic mesh changer's belt replacement is complete.
