Conveyor beltPrecision conveying chains, like drive chains, are composed of a series of bearings, which are firmly secured by the constraining chain plates and their positional relationships are extremely precise.

Each bearing consists of a shaft pin and a sleeve, with the roller chain rotating on it. Both the shaft pin and the sleeve are surface hardened, allowing them to be joined together under higher pressure and withstand the load pressure transmitted by the roller and the impact during engagement. Various strength conveyor chains have a range of different pitch sizes: a smaller pitch is determined by the sufficient strength requirements of the sprocket teeth, while a larger pitch is typically determined by the rigidity of the chain plate and the general chain. If necessary, the sleeve between the chain plates can be reinforced to exceed the rated large pitch size, but the space between the sprocket teeth must be retained to clear the sleeve.
