1. When bending, it's crucial to first refer to the dimensions on the drawings. The material thickness determines the appropriate bending tool and blade slot to prevent collision with the tool and cause deformation. The choice of the upper mold is critical (different upper molds may be used for the same product), while the selection of the lower mold is based on the material thickness.
Next, confirm the sequence of bending operations. The general rule for bending is to bend inward first, then outward; small first, then large; and special before common. For parts that require the edge to be flattened, first bend the part to 30°-40°, then use a leveling die to flatten the edge.
2. After the processes of bending and riveting are completed, the workpieces must undergo surface treatment, which varies depending on the material of the plates. Cold rolled sheets typically undergo surface electroplating, followed by phosphatizing treatment instead of painting, and then proceed to painting. For electroplated plates, the surface is first cleaned and degreased before painting.
Stainless steel sheets (including mirror finish, frosted finish, and brushed finish) can be brushed before bending without the need for painting; if painting is required, a deburring process must be carried out. Aluminum sheets are generally treated with oxidation, and the base color for oxidation is chosen based on the different paint colors.
3. During the metal enclosure processing, after the blanking is completed, the workpieces move on to the next process, with different parts entering the corresponding工序 based on the processing requirements.
There are bending, riveting, flanging, threading, spot welding, dome forming, and step forming operations. Sometimes, nuts or bolts need to be properly pressed after bending one or two folds. In cases where dome forming and step forming are involved, the molds must be processed first to avoid interference from subsequent operations, which could prevent the required finishing. If there are clips on the top or bottom cover, they should be processed before bending if welding after bending is not possible.
