The lifespan of an electric furnace is not only related to the quality of the product and its usage frequency, but also to the habits of the user. Those with good habits, such as regularly maintaining the furnace, can expect a longer lifespan. Of course, waiting until issues arise before repairing will reduce its lifespan. Below are methods to extend the life of an electric furnace.
(1) Regularly inspect the connection between the electric furnace and controller for proper integrity.
(2) Electric furnaces and controllers must be operated in environments where the relative humidity does not exceed 85%, free from conductive dust, explosive gases, and corrosive gases that can damage metal insulation and electronic components.
(3) The operating temperature of the controller is restricted to 0-50°C.
(4) When using electric furnaces and controllers, do not exceed the rated power and keep the furnace temperature within the working temperature. It is prohibited to place damp workpieces inside the furnace. Workpieces with excessively high moisture content after heating should undergo preliminary drying.
(5) Maintain cleanliness inside the furnace, promptly remove metal oxides, slag, and impurities, and handle workpieces with care during loading and unloading.
