The operation process and precautions for the upcasting machine are as follows:
Operation Process:
1. Descaling and cleaning to ensure waterway integrity. Clean the electrolytic copper and preheat for baking to remove moisture.
2. The feeding process must be maintained evenly, with small and frequent additions to maintain the stability of the furnace temperature and copper liquid level.
The copper sheets or recycled copper scrap must not float on the copper melt surface; they need to be promptly hammered into the copper melt.
Before loading the charcoal into the furnace, it should be roasted and ensure that the charcoal layer is tightly packed and sufficiently thick to prevent copper from contacting oxygen and hydrogen in the air.
After melting, the copper liquid is allowed to settle for a period of time before being transferred into a holding furnace through a trough protected by CO gas, ensuring the stability of the copper liquid temperature.
Cautionary Notes:
Adhere strictly to safety protocols during operations, wear protective gear, and avoid harm from high temperatures and harmful gases to personnel.
Regular inspections and maintenance of equipment are conducted to ensure smooth operation and prevent production disruptions or safety incidents caused by equipment failures.
3. Pay attention to the quality of raw materials, selecting electrolytic copper and charcoal that meet the required specifications, and avoid using materials that do not comply with the process requirements.
4. Strictly control the melting and holding temperatures to ensure stable copper liquid temperature, which is conducive to improving casting quality and production efficiency.
By adhering to the above operational procedures and precautions, the smooth operation and production safety of the continuous casting machine can be effectively ensured, while also enhancing the quality and efficiency of casting production.
