Structure and Working Principle:
The hydraulic downstream sliding weir gate system is mainly composed of weir gates, hydraulic systems, ultrasonic liquid level gauges, and control systems. For easy maintenance in the future, a maintenance groove is usually provided in front and behind the weir gates.
The gate valve is driven and controlled by an opening and closing hydraulic cylinder to adjust the gate's up and down movement. The hydraulic cylinder can be equipped with an automatic control system, allowing for unmanned automatic control of the hydraulic gate valve. Water from the upstream flows over the top of the gate. The gate can be raised or lowered as needed, stopping at any position to control the flow of water distribution or adjust the upstream water level. It can perform various functions, such as flushing, water level control, and flow control.
Ultrasonic level sensors detect water levels on both sides of the weir gate and convert them into electrical signals for the control system. The control system drives oil cylinders on both sides of the weir gate, causing the weir plate to slide up and down in the guide slots. Rubber seals are fitted on both sides and the bottom of the guide slots for sealing purposes (can be three or four-sided sealing). The oil cylinders are equipped with displacement sensors, allowing the weir plate to stop at any position. In the event of a power outage, the system can control upstream water levels, flushing, and prevent backflow, among other functions.
