Structure and Working Principle:
The hydraulic slide gate system primarily consists of the slide gate, hydraulic system, ultrasonic level gauge, and control system. For ease of maintenance in the future, a maintenance channel is usually provided in front and behind the slide gate.
The underflow weir gate is driven and controlled by an opening and closing hydraulic cylinder to lift or lower the gate plate. The hydraulic cylinder can be equipped with an automatic control system, allowing for unmanned automatic control of the liquid-driven underflow weir gate. Water from the upstream flows over the top of the gate plate. The gate plate can be raised or lowered as needed and can stop at any position to control the water distribution flow or adjust the upstream water level, enabling multiple functions such as flushing, water level control, and flow control.
Ultrasonic level sensors detect water levels on both sides of the weir gate and convert them into electrical signals for the control system. The control system drives oil cylinders on both sides of the weir gate, allowing the weir plate to slide up and down in the guide slots. Rubber seals are fitted on both sides and the bottom of the guide slots for sealing purposes (can be three-sided or four-sided sealing). The oil cylinders are equipped with position sensors, enabling the weir plate to stop at any position. In the event of a power outage, the system can control upstream water levels, flushing, and prevention of backflow, among other functions.
