Chiller units are primarily categorized into screw cooling and cyclone cooling types, each serving its own purpose. The screw chillers, with their higher power output, are mainly used in the refrigeration industry and central air conditioning cooling systems. Due to their ease of operation, long service life, and other performance advantages, they are highly favored by consumers. It is predictable that the future development prospects of the screw chiller industry will be very promising.

The advantages of screw-type chillers are widely applied in various industrial refrigeration industries. At the same time, the performance of the compressor, evaporator, condenser, and throttle device, which are the four major components of the screw-type chiller, directly affects the overall performance of the unit. Therefore, it is not only necessary to improve the performance of each part but also to optimize the combination to significantly enhance the level of screw-type chillers.

The key component of the compressor, known as the screw-type due to its screw design, is the screw-type chillers. The unit exits the evaporator as a gaseous refrigerant, which, after adiabatic compression, enters a high-temperature and high-pressure state. In the condenser, the compressed refrigerant is isobarically cooled and condensed, transforming into a liquid refrigerant. This liquid then expands through a throttle valve to a low pressure, becoming a gas-liquid mixture. Inside the evaporator, under low temperature and low pressure, the liquid refrigerant absorbs heat from the cooled substance and reverts to a gaseous state. The gaseous refrigerant is then piped back into the compressor to begin the cycle anew. The refrigeration cycle consists of four processes, and this is the primary working principle of the screw chillers!

Screw-type cooling equipment for concrete cooling is widely used in large-scale concrete projects such as national bridges, iron towers, public works, construction bureaus, and electric power bureaus. This includes infrastructure projects like high-speed railways, tunnels, hydroelectric power stations, dams, and hydroelectric power plants. It meets the temperature requirements of modern industrial mechanized production, rapidly improving production efficiency and product quality.

At the same time, the quality of products such as cement, gravel, and sand is better at temperatures between 20-30 degrees Celsius. Due to higher temperatures in summer, both the water and ambient temperatures are elevated, which is unfavorable for mixing. Therefore, concrete mixing stations utilize industrial cold water units to directly supply chilled water at 0-10°C or a mixture of ice and water at 0-2°C, which fully meets the requirements of national quality inspection for concrete cooling in terms of process cold sources.
