Louis Shelley T-shirts, screen printing techniques for cultural shirts are basically categorized into three types: screen printing, transfer printing, and hand-painted.
Screen printing is a popular printing technique for T-shirts and cultural shirts. The screen printing process is relatively complex, involving several steps such as design, film output, printing, drying, and curing. When choosing screen printing, color control is crucial as the more colors, the higher the cost. It's best to avoid color gradients in screen printing, as the printed gradient will differ significantly from what's displayed on the screen, as the material and paper are different.

Transfer printing technology has become a popular technique in recent years. It involves first printing the design onto transfer paper, then applying it to T-shirt fabric through high temperature and pressure. Compared to screen printing, transfer printing offers the advantages of speed and convenience, as well as realistic colors. However, it also has drawbacks such as lower color fastness and higher costs for bulk custom orders.
Hand-painted: Most hand-painted T-shirts and sweatshirts are now completed with spray painting, although many are still hand-drawn. The paints typically used are acrylic and textile dyes. The cost of hand-painted T-shirts and sweatshirts is relatively high, making them unsuitable for mass production.
