The cooler is a turbo oil cooling equipment used in conjunction with steam turbines in the power system. The cooler features a shell and tube design and employs circulating water as the medium for heat exchange, ensuring that the oil temperature at the bearing inlet reaches the specified level, thereby guaranteeing the normal operation of the unit.

Key Features

1. Utilizing copper tubes as heat exchange elements, featuring high thermal conductivity, a large heat exchange area per unit length, and high heat transfer capacity.

The structure is rational, capable of maintaining stable oil extraction temperature over a wide range of temperature changes, and exhibits excellent resistance to sudden temperature fluctuations and vibrations.

3. The assembly structure is reliable, ensuring that cooling water does not enter the turbine unit.

4. The fins are smooth with no burrs, no creases, and are resistant to dust and scale buildup, featuring low fluid resistance.

Shop for

When purchasing a cooler, inform us of the cooling area. The cooling methods include the LY type of light tube (commonly used) and the LYC type of finned tube. The heat exchange cooling tubes are generally made of紫铜, but can also be selected as stainless steel or brass as per the customer's requirement for the heat exchange element.

Advantages

To ensure sufficient safety margin for the turbine's cooling oil during operation, the two-stage cooler is composed of two identical oil coolers and a three-way valve. One cooler operates while the other serves as a backup. If the cooling effect is poor due to high oil temperature or water inlet temperature, both can be used simultaneously. Additionally, if cleaning or maintenance of the cooler is required during operation, the backup cooler can be activated without the need to shut down the turbine.
