One.Preface
The deaerator is a special type of low-temperature thermal deaerator.
During the boiler feedwater treatment process, deoxygenation is a very critical step. Oxygen is the primary corrosive substance in the feedwater system and boiler. Oxygen in the feedwater must be removed quickly; otherwise, it will corrode the boiler's feedwater system and components. Corrosion leads to the formation of ferric oxide, which enters the boiler, settles or adheres to the boiler tube walls and heating surfaces, creating difficult-to-dissolve iron scale that impairs heat transfer. Moreover, corrosion can cause pitting on the inner walls of the pipes, increasing the resistance coefficient. Severe pipe corrosion can even lead to pipeline accidents. Two.Deoxygenator working principle
The deaerator generally includes two working processes.:
1.One-time Deaeration: Water not deaerated enters the deaeration pipeline through the inlet, and is ejected as a mist through nozzles. The mist falls and passes through a liquid-vapor mesh, where it is thoroughly mixed with steam entering through the steam inlet. This process allows the mist to reach the deaeration temperature, causing most of the oxygen in the water to be extracted and expelled through the exhaust port, thus completing the one-time deaeration.
2.Deaeration: The purpose of secondary deaeration is to ensure the tank's temperature is consistently maintained at the deaeration temperature to maximize the deaeration effect. This is achieved by heating the water that has already been deaerated through the auxiliary heating port at the bottom, causing any oxygen that was not precipitated during the primary deaeration to fully precipitate, significantly reducing the oxygen content in the water. At this point, the secondary deaeration is complete.
Three.Internal oxygen removal unit structure
