One.Preface
The deaerator is a special type of low-pressure thermal deaerator.
In the boiler feed water treatment process, deoxygenation is a very critical step. Oxygen is a primary corrosive agent in both the feed water system and the boiler. Oxygen in the feed water must be removed promptly, as it can corrode the boiler's feed water system and components. Corrosion leads to the formation of ferric oxide, which can enter the boiler, settle or adhere to the boiler tube walls and heating surfaces, creating difficult-to-dissolve iron scale that impairs heat transfer. Moreover, corrosion can cause pitting on the inner walls of pipes, increasing the resistance coefficient. Severe pipe corrosion can even lead to pipeline accidents. Two.Deoxygenator working principle
The deaerator generally includes two operating processes.:
1.One-time Deoxygenation: Water not yet deoxygenated enters the deoxygenation pipeline via the inlet, is sprayed out into a mist, and falls through a liquid-vapor mesh. The mist is then thoroughly mixed with steam entering through the steam inlet, achieving the deoxygenation temperature. Most of the oxygen in the water is extracted and released through the exhaust port, marking the completion of the one-time deoxygenation.
2.Deoxygenation II: The purpose of secondary deoxygenation is to ensure that the tank's internal temperature is consistently maintained at the deoxygenation temperature to maximize the deoxygenation effect. This process is achieved by heating the already deoxygenated water through the auxiliary heating port at the bottom, causing any oxygen not precipitated during the primary deoxygenation to fully precipitate, significantly reducing the oxygen content in the water. At this point, the secondary deoxygenation is complete.
Three.Internal oxygen scavenger design
