The deaerator is a special type of low-pressure thermal deaerator.
In the boiler feed water treatment process, deoxygenation is a very critical step. Oxygen is the primary corrosive substance in both the feed water system and the boiler. The oxygen in the feed water must be removed quickly, otherwise, it will corrode the boiler's feed water system and components. The corrosion will produce iron oxide that enters the boiler, depositing or adhering to the boiler tube walls and heat surfaces, forming an insoluble scale that leads to poor heat transfer. Moreover, corrosion can cause pitting on the inner wall of the pipes, increasing the resistance coefficient. In severe cases of pipe corrosion, even pipe accidents may occur. Two.Deoxygenator working principle
The deaerator generally includes two working processes.:
1.One-time Deaeration: Water not deaerated enters the deaeration pipeline through the inlet, is sprayed out into a mist by the nozzle, and falls. It passes through the liquid-vapor mesh and is thoroughly mixed with the steam entering through the steam inlet. This causes the misty water to reach the deaeration temperature, with most of the oxygen in the water precipitated and expelled through the exhaust port, completing the one-time deaeration process.
2.Deaeration II: The purpose of secondary deaeration is to maintain the tank temperature consistently at the deaeration temperature to maximize the deaeration effect. This process is achieved by heating the already deaerated water through the auxiliary heating port at the bottom, causing any oxygen not precipitated during primary deaeration to fully precipitate. This significantly reduces the oxygen content in the water, marking the completion of secondary deaeration.
Three.Internal oxygen scavenger design
