One.Preface
The deaerator is a special type of low-pressure thermal deaerator.
In the water treatment process for boiler feed, deoxygenation is a very critical step. Oxygen is the primary corrosive substance in the feedwater system and boiler. Oxygen in the feedwater should be removed rapidly, otherwise, it will corrode the feedwater system and components of the boiler. The corrosion will produce iron oxide that enters the pot, sediment or adhere to the boiler tube walls and heating surfaces, forming an unsoluble iron scale that leads to poor heat transfer. Moreover, corrosion can cause pitting on the inner walls of the pipes, increasing the resistance coefficient. In severe cases of pipe corrosion, even pipe accidents can occur. Two.Deoxygenator working principle
The oxygen separator generally includes two working processes.:
1.A single oxygen removal: Water not treated for oxygen is fed into the oxygen removal pipeline through the inlet, then sprayed out through nozzles, forming a mist. The mist falls through a liquid-vapor mesh and is thoroughly mixed with steam entering through the steam inlet, reaching the oxygen removal temperature. Most of the oxygen in the water is then extracted and expelled through the exhaust port, completing the first stage of oxygen removal.
2.Deaeration II: The purpose of secondary deaeration is to maintain the tank's temperature consistently at the deaeration temperature to maximize the deaeration effect. This process is achieved by heating the already deaerated water through the auxiliary heating port at the bottom, causing any oxygen that was not precipitated during the first deaeration to fully precipitate, significantly reducing the oxygen content in the water. At this point, the secondary deaeration is complete.
Three.Integrated oxygen removal unit structure
