Boiler exhaust silencers are manufactured based on the micro-perforated plate noise reduction principle. Therefore, we first control the flow rate, and then the steam enters the expansion chamber after passing through a flow control stage, where it is further pressurized to reduce noise. The sound power across various frequency bands is reduced after ejection, and the sound pressure level frequencies are pushed above 20,000 Hz, greatly diminishing the noise. However, secondary noise at certain frequencies still requires further noise reduction. We add a resistive sound-absorbing cotton structure outside the expansion chamber, which is designed based on the frequency spectrum characteristics of the residual noise emitted by the pressure reduction body, to effectively absorb the remaining noise. After the user installs it as required, the total noise reduction should reach 30-60 decibels, meeting the requirements.
