Glass Fiber Geogrid is an excellent geosynthetic material used for road reinforcement, repair of old roads, and strengthening subgrades and soft soil foundations. It has become an indispensable material in dealing with asphalt road reflective cracks. This product is made by weaving high-strength, alkali-free glass fibers into a mesh base material through international warp-knitting technology, followed by surface coating to create a semi-rigid product. It boasts high tensile strength in both warp and weft directions with a low elongation rate, and possesses excellent properties such as resistance to high temperatures, low temperatures, aging, and corrosion. It is widely used in the reinforcement of asphalt and concrete pavements, subgrades, railway subgrades, embankment slopes, airport runways, sand prevention and sand control projects.

Product Introduction

Glass fiber grid is made from high-quality alkali-free glass fiber yarn, woven into the base material using foreign warp-knitted machines. It features warp-knitted directional structure, enhancing its mechanical properties by utilizing the strength of the yarn in the fabric. This results in excellent tensile strength, tear resistance, and creep resistance, and is then coated with optimized asphalt for a flat, networked material. Adhering to the principle of similar and compatible, it emphasizes its composite properties with asphalt mixes while protecting the glass fiber base, significantly improving its wear resistance and shear resistance. This enables its use in road reinforcement, combating issues like cracking and rutting, thus solving the难题 of enhancing asphalt pavements.

It features high tensile strength, low elongation, no long-term creep, good physical and chemical stability, excellent thermal stability, resistance to fatigue cracking, high-temperature rut resistance, low-temperature shrinkage cracking resistance, and delayed reduction of reflective cracks.
