Polyester geotextile格栅 utilizes the warp and weft of the knitted directional fabric, forming firm junction points by crossing the yarns without bends and binding them together with GQ fiber filaments. The GQ polyester fiber polyester geotextile boasts high tensile strength, low elongation, high tear strength, minimal difference in longitudinal and transverse strength, resistance to UV aging, wear, and corrosion. It is lightweight, has strong interlocking force with soil or gravel, and significantly enhances the shear resistance and reinforcement of soil, improving the overall integrity and load-bearing capacity.

Above mentioned, the涤沦geotextile格栅 is known for its fatigue-crack resistance. How much do you know about it? On the asphalt overlay on old cement concrete pavements, its primary effect is to improve the pavement's functional performance, while its contribution to load-bearing is relatively small; the rigid concrete pavement underneath still plays a crucial load-bearing role. However, it's different when performing an asphalt overlay on old asphalt concrete pavements; the asphalt overlay will bear the load together with the old asphalt concrete pavement. Therefore, when performing an asphalt overlay on asphalt concrete pavements, in addition to reflecting cracks, fatigue cracks may also appear due to the long-term effect of loads. We conducted a stress analysis on the load-bearing condition of asphalt overlays on old asphalt concrete pavements: since the asphalt overlay layer below is a flexible layer of the same nature as the asphalt overlay, it will deform under load. The asphalt overlay layer in direct contact with the wheels is under pressure, while the layer outside the wheel load margin is subjected to tensile forces. Due to the different nature of forces at the two load-bearing areas, which are closely adjacent, damage is more likely to occur at the junction of these two areas where the force changes abruptly. Under the effect of long-term loads, fatigue cracks may occur.

Geotextile格栅 in asphalt overlay layers can dissipate the compressive and tensile stresses mentioned above, creating a buffer zone between the two stress-bearing areas. Here, the stress changes gradually rather than abruptly, reducing the damage to the asphalt overlay from sudden stress changes. The low elongation of glass fiber geotextile further reduces the deformation of the road surface, ensuring that it does not experience excessive deformation.
