Alkali and acid-resistant conveyor belts are generally used for transporting corrosive materials. This type of conveyor belt is employed for the transportation of corrosive materials or strongly acidic or alkaline materials, and is widely used in fertilizer plants, chemical factories, paper mills, mining industries, and more.
Acid and alkali-resistant conveyor belts are made from acid and alkali-resistant materials for the covering rubber, with the core constructed from polyester canvas, nylon canvas, cotton canvas, or steel wire rope as the skeletal material. It features a special rubber layer with excellent adhesion properties. The belts also exhibit good resistance to chemical corrosion and physical properties, reducing the corrosiveness of the transported materials on the covering rubber. They have good elasticity, excellent troughing performance, and a low elongation rate during use.
