ZS SeriesCandle Self-Cleaning Filter(Temperature Control Unit) In a sealed container, a combination of multiple porous filter cores is used, with filter cloth (or other filtering medium) wrapped around the filter cores. During filtration, a pump sends the slurry into the filter. The liquid phase of the slurry passes through the filtering medium and collects at the center of the porous filter cores, exiting through the clean liquid outlet. Before a filter cake layer forms, the discharged "clean liquid" returns to the raw slurry inlet and is recycled through the filter. This continues until the filter cake layer forms (meeting the filtration requirements), at which point a signal controls the stop of the recycling. The clean liquid then passes through a three-way valve to the next process for use and normal filtration.
After a normal filtration period, when the filter cake layer on the porous wick reaches a certain thickness, a signal is provided to control the feed (stop), then the residual liquid in the filter is drained. After draining, a signal is provided to control the backblowing port (compressed air, nitrogen, or saturated steam) for backblowing to dislodge the filter cake. After backblowing for a certain period, the backblowing is stopped, and a signal is provided to open the filter's discharge port for discharging the cake. After discharging is complete, close the discharge port and return to the initial state before filtration, ready for the next filtration cycle.

For liquid clarification, additives such as diatomaceous earth and activated carbon can be directly added to the slurry to enhance filtration rate and achieve clearer filtrate. Precision range is available from 1μm to 300μm.
Fully enclosed operation, suitable for filtering general materials as well as flammable, explosive, toxic, or highly toxic hazardous products, and also for filtering fresh and delicious food, biological products, and pharmaceuticals where no contamination is permitted.
After the filtration process, if the bottom residue slurry cannot be returned to the slurry tank, it can be pumped out of the bottom residue slurry and returned to the top center of the filter machine's cover. It is then evenly sprayed onto the filter tubes through nozzles, with the compressed air inputted into the machine to filter out all the remaining liquid.
Due to the uniform filter cake layer formed during re-filtering, it is convenient to wash the filter cake by introducing cleaning liquid inside the machine. Washing the filter cake via top spray irrigation can significantly save cleaning liquid.
To achieve a dried filter cake, after filtration or washing the filter cake, introduce ambient air, hot air, or steam into the machine to pass through the cake layer until the desired dryness is reached. Then, depressurize the machine and back-flush the filter cake to discharge it from the bottom.
