Traffic sign posts play an extremely crucial role in the traffic system, clearly displaying essential road information. However, to achieve a good display effect, proper installation is required. Below, let's explore how to correctly install traffic sign posts.
1. All equipment stop signs must be confirmed by the supervising engineer before stopping, and strict checks on the production and quality of the equipment must be conducted. After the equipment arrives on-site, manage safety equipment such as pedestrian traffic signs and road barriers. To maximize the safety of on-site personnel and prevent accidents to the greatest extent possible, ensure construction safety. Adhere strictly to the construction drawings and determine the position of signs based on traffic flow.
2. The signboard is secured to the column using sliding bolts, iron bands, and other connecting accessories. The bottom edge of the single-line signboard should be 250cm away from the road surface. Traffic signal suppliers should verify the basis for hanging road signs. After considering the positions on the drawings, excavation work is carried out, and template installation, reinforcement, and concrete pouring are suspended as required. The anchor bolts and foundation flanges are correctly oriented and reach the standard elevation.
3. Once the basic concrete strength meets the requirements, suspend the signage support structure and obtain approval from the supervising engineer. The flanges on the concrete foundation plate should fit tightly, and the anchor bolts should be securely fastened. After tightening the bolts, the pillars must not tilt; upon completion of the equipment signage, inspect and adjust the signage for verticality and height to meet the standard requirements; after the road signage equipment is finished, the traffic signal supplier should cease the corresponding cleaning work to maintain a neat and aesthetically pleasing appearance.
