       Leak discovered during trial run:Fire PumpAfter mechanical sealing passes the static test, the force generated by the high-speed rotation during operation can hinder the leakage of the medium. Therefore, cleaning between shafts and end cover seal failures are primarily caused by damaged dynamic and static ring mating surfaces. Most often, they require disassembly and reassembly, and the replacement of seals. Sudden leakage of fire pumps during normal operation is usually due to significant changes in operating conditions or improper operation and maintenance. Prolonged idling, cavitation, or long-term pressure build-up can lead to seal damage; the pump's actual output is lower, causing much of the medium to circulate within the pump, leading to heat accumulation. This can cause the medium to vaporize, leading to seal failure; for extended shutdowns, starting up without manual rotation can cause the mating surfaces to stick and damage the seal faces due to adhesion; an increase in corrosive, polymerizing, and gel-forming substances in the medium; and drastic changes in environmental temperature. Leakage during static testing of the installation: if the leakage is minor, it is often due to issues with the dynamic or static ring seals; if the leakage is significant, it indicates a problem with the dynamic and static ring mating surfaces.      

On the basis of initial leak detection and identifying the leak location, further manual wheel inspection is conducted. If there is no significant change in the leak rate, it indicates issues with the static and dynamic ring seals: problems with the static and dynamic ring interference, issues with the dynamic ring seal, and failure of the static ring seal, etc.Fire PumpIn the event of any leakage, it is crucial to promptly investigate the cause and determine if replacement parts are needed or if other repairs are necessary. It is essential to maintain the fire pump's full functionality without any compromise, as the equipment is used for major accident rescue and cannot afford any unexpected situations. Since fire pumps are devices with strong sealing capabilities, they must operate under specific pressure conditions to ensure quick water discharge and meet operational requirements while minimizing malfunctions. Inside the fire pump's sealing oil chamber, a high-precision anti-interference leakage detection sensor should be installed to detect any leaks. Pre-installed thermal sensors within the stator winding can provide protective functions for the pump motor. An automatic safety protection control cabinet must be equipped. The float switch must be able to adjust according to the required liquid level, automatically controlling the start and continuous operation of the submersible pump, eliminating the need for constant supervision and making it highly convenient to use.
