The approximate production process of woven geotextile格栅: raw materials → weaving → coating → inspection → finished product. Subsequently, through a multitude of tests, its tensile, tear, and creep properties were studied and evaluated. The author investigated the tensile properties of two commonly used meshes—the woven geotextile of glass fiber and polyester—and analyzed their characteristics and the factors influencing the tensile properties of woven geotextile meshes. Additionally, addressing the rarity of using wide-width high-strength testing methods in practice, the author explored the relationship between the strength of a single strand of mesh and that of multiple strands, discovering a simple method to predict the strength of wide-width (>=20cm) meshes. The tear resistance of woven geotextile is also crucial in actual applications. Due to the inability to test according to existing standards, the author designed a tear resistance testing method. Through experimental data and observations of the tear process, the author obtained the tear resistance and process details of woven geotextile, and proposed that the tear resistance can be enhanced by altering the performance of the binding yarn, coating conditions, and the density of the warp and weft yarns.
