Rubber Sheathed Cable

Flexible cables, such as rubber-insulated cables, are made with multiple strands of fine copper wire as conductors, encased in rubber insulation and sheath. Generally, this category includes items like general-purpose rubber-sheathed soft cables, welding machine cables, submersible motor cables, radio equipment cables, and photographic light source cables.

Rubber sheathed cables are categorized into heavy-duty rubber sheathed flexible cables (YC cables, YCW cables), medium-duty rubber sheathed flexible cables (YZ cables, VZW cables), light-duty rubber sheathed flexible cables (YO cables, YQW cables), waterproof rubber sheathed flexible cables (JHS cables, JHSP cables), and welding cables (YH cables, YHF cables). The YHD cable is a tin-plated power connection line for outdoor use. Rubber sheathed cables are widely used in various electrical appliances, such as household appliances, electric machinery, and portable power lines for electrical equipment and instruments. They can also be used in indoor or outdoor environments. Depending on the mechanical stress the cables are subjected to, they are divided into three types: light, medium, and heavy, with appropriate connections in cross-section. Generally, light-duty rubber sheathed cables are used for household appliances and small electric equipment, requiring flexibility, lightness, and good bending properties; medium-duty rubber sheathed cables are widely used in industrial applications as well as in agricultural electrification.
